Abstracts as Comics
Abstract comics are comics that combine concepts of visual abstraction with the traditional continuity of the comic strip. Our Abstracts are not visually abstract. “Abstracts”, to most researchers, are short statements about their papers designed to give readers complete, concise, understanding of a paper's research and findings. These are better than that.
SP Comics collaborated with University of Louisville scholar Daniel DeCaro to produce comic abstracts for a series of his articles dealing with public health, common pool resource dilemmas, and humanistic rational choice theory.
